LOLG is pleased to announce that 16 of our lawyers have been recognized in the 18th edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada, receiving a total of 55 rankings across the Best Lawyers and Ones to Watch lists. Four lawyers are ranked for the first time.
Eleven lawyers have received 48 rankings across 14 practice areas in Best Lawyers, which profiles legal professionals recognized by industry leaders. Jonathan Lisus, Matthew Gottlieb, Paul Michell, Crawford Smith, Shaun Laubman, Nadia Campion, Paul Fruitman, Rahool Agarwal, Andrew Winton and Matthew Law are repeatedly recognized, and in some instances achieved new rankings. Brad Vermeersch is ranked for the first time.
Among the five lawyers named as Ones to Watch, Zain Naqi and Philip Underwood are repeatedly recognized with Lars Brusven, Michael Currie and John Carlo Mastrangelo being named for the first time. The Ones to Watch list identifies next generation lawyers with outstanding professional excellence.
The Best Lawyers in Canada directory is a comprehensive guide to legal talent in Canada, profiling over 7,000 leading practitioners across the country. The rankings are a result of a survey that captures the opinion of legal practitioners in the professional abilities of their peers.
