Crystal listens and cares. She is a versatile and tenacious litigator who is devoted to achieving the best outcomes for clients. Her approach to problem-solving balances pragmatism and creativity, and is tailored to the unique circumstances of the client's business. 

Crystal's practice encompasses a broad range of commercial and civil litigation. Prior to joining Lax O'Sullivan, Crystal practiced with a leading international law firm, where she worked on diverse litigation matters involving construction projects, insurance disputes, contractual disputes, professional negligence, bankruptcy and insolvency, shareholders disputes, regulatory matters, and labour and employment disputes. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and has experience with trials, motions, mediations and arbitrations. She is able to grasp the facts in a situation quickly, think deeply and thoroughly about the legal issues, and provide pragmatic and creative solutions to clients in a timely manner.

Crystal studied law at University of Toronto, where she served as a Senior Editor for the University of Toronto Law Review and volunteered as a case worker for the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights and the Pro Bono Students Canada Family Law Project. Before law school, Crystal completed her undergraduate and masters studies in Biochemistry at McGill University, where she researched the causes and potential treatments for various cancers and neurodegenerative diseases.

Crystal is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
