Dantae is developing a commercial and civil litigation practice. Before joining Lax O’Sullivan, Dantae practiced at an international law firm and gained experience in shareholder disputes, class actions, professional negligence, regulatory matters, and labour and employment disputes. She has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice, Alberta Court of King’s Bench and various administrative tribunals in Alberta.
Dantae graduated from the University of Calgary Faculty of Law in 2022, where she researched issues in social media securitization and online content moderation. She volunteered as a caseworker with Student Legal Assistance and acted as an executive for UCalgary OUTLaw and the Pro Bono Students Canada Trans ID Clinic program.
Before law school, Dantae graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Political Studies and worked for the United Nations Global Compact in New York.
