Jaylene is curious and seeks to understand. She approaches challenges with determination and the flexibility to find a solution. 

Jaylene is developing a broad litigation practice. She articled with the counsel who provide independent legal advice at the Capital Markets Tribunal. There she gained a depth of experience in securities law disputes.

Jaylene graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2023. She served for three years on Student Caucus, including as the Chair in her final year. She sat on numerous faculty committees, including the Academic Policy and Planning Committee. In each year she was on the Osgoode Hall Law Journal team and took to the stage in the Mock Trial variety show. In her second year she was a caseworker with the Investor Protection Clinic, where she conducted intake interviews and collaborated with supervising lawyers to advance the legal cases of low-income investors. Upon graduation she was awarded the Dean’s Gold Key for her contributions to the Osgoode community. 

Prior to law school, Jaylene worked as a manager at the University of British Columbia, where she organized international learning and exchange opportunities, conducted student academic and career advising, and planned strategic programs. Previously, she worked as a photojournalist.
