Bio
Recognized as ‘an experienced litigator with outstanding talent for strategy’, Rahool maintains a robust commercial and civil litigation practice with extensive experience in class actions, contractual disputes, franchise litigation, shareholder disputes, contested corporate transactions, director and officer liability, commercial arbitrations, and complex fraud cases. He has acted on a broad range of constitutional and public law cases involving matters of significant public interest. He also focuses a significant portion of his practice to litigation involving Indigenous peoples.
Clients rely on Rahool to handle time-sensitive disputes and to prosecute and defend urgent court proceedings. He has a track record of success in trial and appellate courts in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Quebec, and has appeared as counsel in six cases in the Supreme Court of Canada. He also regularly appears before the Toronto Commercial List.
Committed to promoting diversity and the development of the next generation of advocates, Rahool is an active member of the South Asian Bar Association and The Advocates’ Society.
