Vlad has in-depth knowledge of the law and takes a creative approach to complex legal issues. Pragmatic and focused on client service, Vlad crafts innovative solutions that are attuned to client needs.

Vlad has a broad litigation practice that includes complex contract disputes, class actions, competition law, takeover bids, shareholder disputes and insolvency litigation. In addition, Vlad has experience advising companies and their directors and officers in response to allegations of corporate misconduct, including internal and regulatory investigations.

Vlad has acted in matters before courts and regulatory tribunals across Canada, including the British Columbia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Securities Commission, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Commercial List, and the Saskatchewan Court of Queen’s Bench and Court of Appeal. Prior to joining LOLG, Vlad was a litigation associate at a leading national law firm and clerked at the Court of Appeal for British Columbia. In the summer of 2013, Vlad worked for the Enforcement Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission. During law school, he was the recipient of several notable academic and mooting awards.
