Ryann maintains a broad litigation practice with a focus on complex commercial disputes, including oppression remedies, breach of trust claims, urgent injunctions, employment matters and cross-border litigation. In her intellectual property practice, Ryann is regularly called upon to protect her clients’ most sensitive and valuable trademarks and confidential information. Ryann also maintains an extensive professional negligence and health law practice, and has overseen large-scale workplace investigations.
Ryann is an experienced courtroom lawyer, and has represented clients at all levels of the Ontario and Federal Courts, at various administrative tribunals, as well as in private mediations and commercial arbitrations. In law school, Ryann won the Ontario trial advocacy championship and earned the highest standing in trial advocacy at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law.
Ryann has contributed to numerous legal blogs, articles, texts and conference presentations, and has served on her firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
