Niklas’ diverse practice gives him the insight and experience to obtain the best results for his clients within the unique circumstances of each case.

Creative and insightful, Niklas finds solutions to the toughest legal challenges. He has great experience across a range of complex litigation and has represented clients in all manner of commercial and civil disputes including high-profile defamation claims, complex contract disputes, professional negligence claims, and disputes on large infrastructure projects.

He regularly appears at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court (Divisional Court, Civil Division and Commercial List), and before regulatory bodies, and in private arbitrations.

He has earned major victories arguing on behalf of clients across various industries, including securities and market regulation, resource development, large residential construction, banking and financial services, and not-for-profit organizations.

Solutions based and client focused, Niklas prides himself on his ability to counsel and guide his clients throughout the litigation process to achieve an optimal result.

Niklas is an active volunteer in the legal community, coaching the Osgoode Hall Law School Jessup Moot team for the past several years and as a past duty counsel for Pro Bono Ontario.
