LOLG SUCCESSFULLY MAINTAINS MANDATORY INJUNCTION AND SIGNIFICANT COSTS AWARD

On June 25, 2021, Michael Currie and Fabian Suárez-Amaya successfully defended two motions for leave to appeal to the Divisional Court. Earlier this year, Michael and Fabian sought and obtained, on an expedited basis, a mandatory injunction against purchasers to provide vacant possession of a condominium townhouse and a significant costs award. The purchasers sought leave to appeal both decisions, which were dismissed. The Divisional Court ordered substantial indemnity costs in favour of LOLG’s client.
