LOLG secures $22.25 million settlement in unpaid overtime class action

On November 1, 2021, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice approved the settlement agreement between Canada Cartage and the representative plaintiff, Marc-Oliver Baroch, acting on behalf of over 7000 class members. Canada Cartage agreed to pay $22.25 million to settle the dispute. The settlement approval puts to an end eight years of hard fought litigation. Jonathan Lisus, Rahool Agarwal, Michael Currie, Vivien Milat, and Fabian Suárez-Amaya acted for the class.
