Successfully represented borrower in Ontario Court of Appeal reversing trial judgment, liability of bank for misrepresentation in personal guarantee and enforceability of entire agreement clauses.

Successfully resisted an appeal in the Ontario Court of Appeal concerning the decision of an arbitrator to reopen an arbitration against a major car manufacturer on the basis of fresh evidence.

Acted for the owner/manager of the shared facilities of Canada’s tallest residential building in an action against a condominium corporation for unpaid shared facilities fees.

Counsel to the plaintiff landowner in a lengthy environmental contamination court action.

Counsel to an airline in a complicated class action arising from allegations of conspiracy to fix air cargo fares, including breaches of the Competition Act. 2008 CanLII 11643  

Acted for Pfizer Canada on judicial review of ministerial decision to grant notice of compliance under PM (NOC) Regulations.

Successfully defended former chief financial officer of SNC-Lavalin Group in securities class action.

Successfully represented psychiatrist in Ontario Court of Appeal, paramountcy of special limitation period in Mental Health Act over general provincial Limitations Act.
