    Representing a Canadian Schedule I bank in a Ontario securities class action alleging disclosure violations in connection with its exposure to the U.S. subprime mortgage market.

  • Ammazzini v. Anglo American PLC

    Represented De Beers Canada Inc. and other related entities defending a class action alleging anti-competitive practices in the sale of diamonds in Canada.

  • Robin Goodfellow et al. v. Grant van Gameren et al.

    Counsel to the majority shareholder and several corporate entities in a breach of contract and oppression action brought by a minority shareholder and partner in several prominent Toronto restaurants.

  • Successfully Obtained an Injunction Compelling the Return of Sensitive Information to a Large Public Sector Union

    Secured an Order mandating the immediate return of the union’s network and server data, along with an accounting by third parties of all network information accessed while under their possession.

    Acted for Tervita in successfully challenging a decision by the Commissioner of Competition under s. 92 of the Competition Act to disallow Tervita’s merger with Complete Environmental Inc.

    Represents Canadian Tire in a claim against a consortium of insurers seeking coverage for business interruption losses suffered by hundreds of retail outlets across Canada related to COVID-19.
