Nigel is a fearless advocate and is passionate about efficiently solving complex problems. 

Nigel is an articling student at Lax O’Sullivan who focuses on insurance litigation. He previously worked at one of Canada’s largest insurers and assisted in drafting factums for the Court of Appeal for Ontario.

Nigel earned his JD from Western University, where he graduated with distinction and received the Law Society of Ontario Prize. Nigel was a competitive mooter with a passion for legal research and writing. He was a top-five oralist at the Laskin Moot, and won the JSD Tory Writing Prize for excellence in writing and legal research. He was also a teaching assistant for the first-year Legal Research, Writing and Advocacy course.

Nigel studied economics at the University of Regina. He received the University Medal, which is awarded to the student with the highest GPA in full-time undergraduate studies.
