Counsel at trial and on appeal for the successful plaintiff/respondent, an investment bank, in a dispute related to a financing fee under an agreement.

Successfully defended an a court-appointed receiver in resisting a stay application for the inadvertent access of purportedly privileged communications.

Counsel to the Sackler Families in the Purdue Pharma CCAA proceeding, a proposed national class action, and two proposed class actions brought by the First Nations and Municipalities across Canada.

Successful at the Court of Appeal of Manitoba in overturning a trial judgement awarded against the defendants for $34.5 million in damages.

Sucessfully represented a large group of condominium unit purchasers in a proceeding under the Companies Creditors’ Arrangement Act.

Successful in enforcing a buy/sell clause in a USA before the Commercial List.

Successfully represented Canadian Home Publishers Inc. before the Ontario Court of Appeal and on a leave application to the Supreme Court of Canada.
