Tyler Corbiere v. E. Corbiere & Sons Contracting

Back to all cases Counsel to one of Canada’s largest First Nations-owned companies, named as a defendant in an action alleging a partnership interest and seeking dissolution of the contracting business. LOLG successfully defended an injunction motion by the plaintiff, which sought interim payments from the business. The Court agreed with LOLG that the request for interim payments did not flow from the allegations in the Statement of Claim, and ultimately dismissed the plaintiff’s motion. The plaintiff subsequently withdrew his claim against LOLG’s clients.
