The Firm is counsel to the Sackler Families in a proposed national class action commenced by Her Majesty the Queen in Right of the Province of British Columbia. The proposed action was brought on behalf of members of a class consisting of all federal, provincial and territorial governments and agencies in Canada against Purdue Pharma L.P. and related entities, which manufacture, sell, or distribute, among other products, opioid pain medications, including OxyContin.
