Represented the Federation of Law Societies and CanLII in the Supreme Court of Canada as interveners in Keatley Surveying Ltd. v. Teranet Inc.  Keatley involves the interpretation of the Crown copyright provisions of the Copyright Act as it applies to plans of survey deposited in the provincial land registry system.  FLS and CanLII made submissions on the potential adverse consequences of applying the Crown copyright provisions to public legal information.
