Bio
Jessica is responsible for managing firm operations, including recruitment, marketing, business development, training and support for all our professional and administrative staff. Jessica is also a member of the Student Committee, coordinating the firm’s summer and articling student programs. Jessica’s legal experience and leadership ability are key not only to the ongoing career advancement of our lawyers, but to providing exceptional value to the firm’s clients and meeting their needs.
Jessica previously was a senior litigation law clerk. She joined Lax O’Sullivan in 2012 after more than a decade as a law clerk in the Toronto litigation department of a leading national firm.
Acted as lead litigation counsel for the UK Administrator on behalf of Nortel companies from EMEA debtors with respect to the cross-border litigation concerning the division of $7.2 Billion.
Appointed to investigate potential claims on behalf of Sears Canada and its creditors to increase assets within the estate and to review payments made to Sears Canada shareholders.
